The ABYSO welcomed New York-based wind repairer Andy Frobig for a second visit to service and repair the Orchestra’s wind instruments. Andy worked with two local trainees, Orlando and Theron, both of whom are members of the ABYSO, to teach them basic repair skills. The team was able to service 42 instruments during this visit. Andy stated “my students/helpers, Orlando and Theron, seemed interested and enthusiastic about the work at hand, and didn’t hesitate to get involved. I look forward to continuing my relationship with ABYSO and keeping functional instruments in the hands of Antigua and Barbuda’s musicians”.
