The ABYSO extends thanks to friends of the ABYSO for their donation of musical instruments. A big thank you to David Curtis who donated a double bass and some scores. David was the guest conductor at the ABYSO Evensong in December 2019.
Kate and Richard Walsh continue their consistent support of the ABYSO with a donation of a clarinet and oboe. Both Kate and Richard have visited Antigua and Barbuda twice and conducted workshops on both occasions. Kate also teaches in the ABYSO Academy.
A big thank you is also extended to Estelle Townsend for her donation of a flute, banjitar, recorder and digeridoo! Estelle loves music and plays several instruments. She was delighted to learn about the ABYSO from David and Jane Finch who have visited Antigua and Barbuda several times. She hopes her donations will inspire many more young people in Antigua and Barbuda to discover the joy of music through the ABYSO.
Antiguan businesswoman Joan Gregory has also generously donated a violin to the ABYSO.
