The ABYSO is thrilled that veteran string tutor, Wendy Max, continues to support the ABYSO Cello programme as a tutor. Wendy is a frequent visitor to Antigua and Barbuda and over her music teaching career has been credited with introducing thousands of children to music, including students in Antigua. She has held three separate in-person workshops for the ABYSO beginner string students and teaches weekly virtual classes. She has also held training sessions with local music tutors attached to the ABYSO on string pedagogy.
Two of her Initial cello students, Dashaunti and Alycia took part in Wendy’s virtual concert in July. Congratulations to both girls for their confident and beautiful performances!
Wendy has been teaching with the ABYSO both online and in-person since 2019.
